SECURITY NOTICE | |
| Authority to exchange files with Maximus is granted by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and may be revoked at any time. The use of this interface is limited to authorized users only. Users of this data are bound to the following: |
| a. | Utilize any data obtained for its intended purposes only. | |
| b. | If the data contains e-PHI and/or PI as defined by the HIPAA/ARRA/HITECH acts and California Privacy and Security Laws, the user must ensure the confidentiality and security of data obtained adheres to the appropriate guidelines. | |
| c. | Acknowledge that inappropriate usage of the data exchanged with Maximus may, at a minimum, result in DHCS revoking the privilege to utilize these services. | |
| d. | All users must immediately report to Maximus at CAHCO_Security_and_Privacy@maximus.com, any discovered unauthorized use or disclosure of PHI or confidential information. |
| Use of this managed file transfer interface is monitored at all times. Anyone using this interface expressly consents to such monitoring and is advised that if such monitoring reveals possible evidence of criminal activity, system personnel may provide evidence of such monitoring to law enforcement officials. | |
